About Goyave Stitchery

Tailoring with a second life

We reshape garments with care, making room for better fit, fresh style, and longer wear.

Goyave Stitchery is an appointment-led tailoring studio focused on garment remodelling and upcycling. We work with clothing that needs a new fit, a new shape, or a new purpose.

From vintage pieces to garments with personal meaning, every project begins with a careful assessment of the fabric, construction, and the changes that are realistically possible.

Our story

A studio shaped by reuse

Built for people who want to keep wearing what they already love, with a fit and finish that suits the present.

Founded by Elodie François, the studio was created to offer thoughtful tailoring for garments that deserve more than a simple repair.

We handle redesign consultations, fit updates, and fabric-reuse projects with a clear process that starts with inspection and ends with a final fit check at collection.

Because every garment has its own structure and limits, we explain the scope before work begins and keep the design direction aligned with the material available.

What guides us

How we work

A focused process, realistic expectations, and respect for the garment are at the center of every piece we take on.

01

Careful assessment

We begin with a garment and material assessment so the project scope is based on what the fabric and construction can support.

02

Clear redesign review

We review redesign ideas before work starts, helping you approve a concept that respects the original garment and the intended result.

03

Fit checked at collection

We make fit checks part of the process, including a final review at collection so any small finishing adjustment can be handled carefully.

04

Practical upcycling

We aim to reuse existing materials where possible and quote supplementary materials separately when they are needed for the project.
